Kimono Styling for Japanese famous actress Rina Takeda who is a Karate champion She was an on-the-spot reporter for Oscar live broadcasting show for WOWOW which is the biggest Japanese cable tv.  Rina interviewed lots of celebrities with Eijiro Ozaki who is Japanese actor in Hollywood. Next our booth was E! channel with Ryan Seacrest.  Interviewing Actress in a supporting role nominee Steve Jobs' Kate Winslet.  Miracle shot!!! There are Spielberg, Rylance, Gaga, DiCaprio and Bale... all in one moment. Photo by our coordinator. Sueko Oshimoto who is a costume designer and a kimono master held her lecture 'Kimono Couture' as a guest lecturer at the Nibei foundation in Sawtel. Couture means the design and manufacture of fashionable clothes to a client's specific requirements and measurements.  She introduced her past projects and fashion magazines that she did styling, and she talked about the image of a kimono from overseas views, industry people's reactions about new kimono look and secret stories using a projector.  The brand concept of Sueko dress line 'We honer our heritage as we design the future"  Carmen Electra wore Sueko kimono dress for Genlux magazine editorial.

We got a question about Japanese wedding at this time so we put a wedding picture on the wall. We like Q&A moment because the guests give us lots of unique questions that we never expected.

A coming-of-age ceremony we call Seijinshiki was held in Los Angeles, and Kimono SK did all kimono dressing for new adults and performers at the event. More than 30 new adults participated the ceremony in this year. Also, Japan consul general and Mrs. participated every year.   Masterless film which became the U.S. debut for Kaho Minami who is Ken Watanabe's wife hold a premium screeing at Egyptian theatre in Hollywood. Sueko Oshimoto provided a kimono styling for Kaho in the film, and she designed a kimono for Adam Lavorgana who was the read actor.  Sueko was interviewed on the red carpet.  Kaho Minami has played as Madam in the film.  Adam Lavorgna  The director/screenwriter Craig Shimabara Behind the scene  Costume designer Sueko Oshimoto provided kimono costume designs for "We are Heroes" at America's Best Dance Crew. MTV ABDC production produced the champion season that all the champion from every season 1 to 7 had dance battled to the victory.       Burai production reran "Standing All Alone" performance for 3 days at Aratani theatre in Little Tokyo. Costume designer Sueko Oshimoto took charge of costume design from 1st run and Kimono SK provided all kimono costumes for the casts. Thank you for coming the performance!!! After the final performance we took a group photo with all casts and all crews.  Burai trailer: We had Sueko Fashion show at laguna hills on August 22. We announced new Sueko's couture line. The venue was packed with 300 seats and stunning design dresses enchanted guests. Thank you for everyone who came to the Sueko Fashion Show.     Sueko couture line came out in GENLUX 2015 fall issue cover and inside a story with Carmen Electra. GENLUX MAGAZINE is the only luxury fashion magazine published in California. Its aim is fusion of fashion and philanthropy. 
 Burai production will hold an original Samurai play performed in English on Aug28th, 29th, 30th!! Set in 19 century JAPAN, Burai is gripping story of family honor, loyalty, pride and SAMURAI warrior struggle to hold on to his inner spirit as he carries out the orders of the tyrannical lord shigemori. in this play performers wear costumes provided by Kimono SK. August 16th (SUN), we dress participants in costume for the festival.   Totaled 200 people joined the festival and charmed audience with festival car and beautiful costume.  we'll have fashion show that theme is modern kabuki at November7th, 8th !!
