In 2006, Kentaro Terauchi traveled to Los Angeles to complete his study in event coordination after graduating from Komazawa University with a degree in finance. He assisted with the graduation party of Sueko Oshimoto's kimono school at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills while planning festivities. He was immediately drawn to the discipline of kimono and began taking lessons from Sueko. In 2010, he acquired his kimono stylist / instructor license and co-founded KIMONO SK with Sueko Oshimoto.
For nearly 15 years, Kentaro Terauchi has worked as a professional photographer. His passion in photography and Japanese kimono intensifies with every passing year. He is a prolific and versatile photographer who specializes in headshots and portraits. He has enjoyed the privilege of photographing celebrities such as Sean Paul, DJ Diplo (Major Lazor), Miranda Kerr, and Chef Morimoto, to name just a few.
Originating in Tokyo, Japan Kentaro has lived and worked in North Hollywood for many years.Fashion, culture, and art are among his primary interests.
