Juri Watanabe won Miss Asia USA pageant as first Japanese delegate in 28 years pageant history. Sueko Oshimoto designed her national costume and two eveing gowns for the pageant, and also Sueko supported mentally her as a menter. Ryukyu Shimpo published Juri's article National Costume designed by Sueko Oshimoto When she spread up her tail which has a cherry blosson tree shows up that each flower has swarovski crystal, the audience roared "Wooooooow". P.S Sueko designed an evening dress for former Mrs. Asia USA Queen, Sang Lee Katayama too. Ms Sang wore the white evening gown at the crowning colonation. We provided kimono costumes and kimono dressing for The comedy Get Down that Cedric the Entertainer, George Lopez, D.L. Hughley, Charlie Murphy and Football Lineman are starring.
Sueko Oshimoto did costume designs and kimono dressings for Fuller House commercial for Japanese market. Netflix Japan posted these photos on their official Instagram page. We held a fashion show for Sueko new collection which is our dress line at Hilton Bayfront San Diego. 800 guests came to the our show.. Japanese famous comedian Tomochika was invited by the Ghostbuster premiere event. Her voice is used for dudding GHOSTBUSTERS into Japanese and she designed the Yukata she wore on the red carpet. Melissa Mccarthy Naomi Watanabe came from Japan for the event too. She is also one of the main voice actress in the movie. Kriten Wiig Paul Feig
Kimono Styling for Japanese famous actress Rina Takeda who is a Karate champion She was an on-the-spot reporter for Oscar live broadcasting show for WOWOW which is the biggest Japanese cable tv. Rina interviewed lots of celebrities with Eijiro Ozaki who is Japanese actor in Hollywood. Next our booth was E! channel with Ryan Seacrest. Sueko Oshimoto who is a costume designer and a kimono master held her lecture 'Kimono Couture' as a guest lecturer at the Nibei foundation in Sawtel. Couture means the design and manufacture of fashionable clothes to a client's specific requirements and measurements. She introduced her past projects and fashion magazines that she did styling, and she talked about the image of a kimono from overseas views, industry people's reactions about new kimono look and secret stories using a projector. The brand concept of Sueko dress line 'We honer our heritage as we design the future" Carmen Electra wore Sueko kimono dress for Genlux magazine editorial. A demonstration of how to tie an obi by Mimi Imagawa, Sayoko Nakazono who are pupils of Sueko Oshimoto. Model: Fusako Shiotani We had Q&A at the end of the lecture. We got a question about Japanese wedding at this time so we put a wedding picture on the wall. We like Q&A moment because the guests give us lots of unique questions that we never expected.

Masterless film which became the U.S. debut for Kaho Minami who is Ken Watanabe's wife hold a premium screeing at Egyptian theatre in Hollywood. Sueko Oshimoto provided a kimono styling for Kaho in the film, and she designed a kimono for Adam Lavorgana who was the read actor. Sueko was interviewed on the red carpet.
