Sueko Oshimoto won "Best Costume Design" at world's largest international fashion film festival in La Jolla, San Diego. Our fashion film curated from the finest of the over 11,000 films the festival has reviewed this year.
Actually, our fashion film "KISS OF A SIREN"has received 8 oficial nominations. more info at here

Sueko designed the gold costume which is for the Queen who is one of the main character in the film. This costume was rated very high by the judges. She designed other 20 costmes for hi-fashon kimono style.

We have provided a costume rental for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
The movie has released today in the U.S.

We have just found out that our fashion film KISS OF A SIREN that Sueko Oshimoto provided costume design received 8 official nominations including Best Costume Design at the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival. it is historic feat which is a record in terms of the number of the nominations per film.

La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival is the first international fashion film festival founded in North America and is world’s largest gathering of fashion filmmakers.
The competition this year is very intense as we are competing against some of the world famous film directors such as Guy Aroch, Hunter and Gatti, Ellen Von Unwerth, Karl Lagerfield who is the head designer of Chanel and Fendi, and more. You can see all the nominated directors here.
The film will have an official worldwide premier on July 25th at La Jolla Fashion Film Festival (exact time TBC).  The Awards Night will take place on July 26th and there will be scheduled Red Carpet Appearances by the keys of the film.

 Main actress who is wearing Kimono costume is Mrs.Yuka Sano. She won 3rd place in Miss Asia USA 2011.
 She also won the photogenic prize with Kimono costume which is Sueko designed.

Yukiko Matsuyama who is only Japanese Koto player got Grammy Award held the world concert and we provided her modern kimono costume for the stage.
She looks like a single flower blooming on the stage.

If you work for all the large scale films, you need to be a member of the union. 
Sueko finally has qualified and is officially an union member.
There are no Japanese costume designer working in the Hollywood film industry.

​We provided part of kimono styling for "The Wolverine" at 20th Century FOX Studio.
It's over $100 million film and The main cast is Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine and Hiroyuki Sanada as Shingen Yashida.
